Okay i think that is very sad... 24 people, and still ONLY ONE
showed me what he did with it!
You dont keep the rules, so i will disable downloading for this one, and only these who send me a note will get the texture - it has orginally a 5000x5000 resolution.

Well, heres a texture i made for a planet... took pretty long...

well its not perfect... but it does its job somehow...^^ ;)

if you want to use it, youre allowed to, but you credit me and send me a link to your deviation = )


Well, its in a resolution of 5000x5000
pretty big... so its size is also something around 17mb...

How do you do these seriously? It looks like a mixture of ice, rock and clay, which gives it a cool effect

well i had... mh think it was 4 different kinds of photos i took (it was a photo, very close of course, by some rocks and these things...)
and copied them, randomly put them around the screen... and well, erased a bit the edges with a very soft brush, so it looks more realistic.
then i made it black and white

thought so too...
but after a few times trying, it worked... = )
its not really difficult in my opinion, but it takes time, especially if you have a high resolution... ;)

Your texture was the base of the orange planet, although i did manipulate it from the original, the texture is really detailed and made it look great!
